Very Good Listen

I LOVE THIS SERIES
AARON AND PATIENCE ARE TWO OF MY BEST CHARACTERS. THE NARRATORS DID A GOOD JOB

Aaron's story....WOW!!!

I listened to "Carter's Flame " and more than loved it. I was intrigued when little Diego was introduced to his Uncle to be , Aaron, and noticed he had "faries" around him. Given Aaron's sour and disagreeable personality, I was on the hook. Aaron has the same fierce loyalty, hot body and alpha protectiveness of his family as his brothers. Add reunion with a long lost love, a stalker, mental illness and a supernatural twist and you've got an amazing story. Great narration, too!!

He is controlling, possessive and oh so fun!

I love this book and read/listen to it multiple times each year. It brings me out of reading slumps. I have the original single narrator version and bought this newer dual version, The male narrator captured Aaron's personality. The female narrator was good but her performance too muted for Patience. I found her emotional scenes flat most of the time. This is a passionate couple and Patience isn't a pushover.

Aaron can be described as a bully, controlling, mean, over the top alpha male. All of which are true but behind all that is a man who went through a lot as a child. He's guarded for good reasons. Enter Patience Thiers and it turns his emotions into something he doesn't seem to be able to fully control. This is a second chance romance with flawed characters. Aaron's issues caused him to lose Patience the first time and current missteps threaten his second chance at happiness.

Patience is the calm to Aaron's conflicted soul. She naively fell in love, got burned and toughened up. Reunited by accident, she doesn't readily forgive him for the past. Even when forced into a marriage she didn't want, she stood her ground. She sees through all of Aaron's arrogance and knows his methods may be questionable, but his love is undeniable.

To fully understand his love for her, please read/listen to Aaron's gift. To better understand their connection/bond, please read Until My Last Breath.

Excellent story line!

Loved this story line! Loved the characters love it over all. I will probably read this again

Aaron’s Patience

It was good. She was definitely patient with his controlling behind. He had to be in control of everything in and out of the bedroom. Loved the narrators.

I hate how Aaron acts

Aaron is a big bully he's super abusive!! I love all her other books but this one is too much.. I feel so bad for patience she's a victim. I couldn't finish the story I really did try to give this book a chance but I just can't. this book fills me up with rage!

I want a man with fairies too!

This book was a good listen. The story and characters were great. Don’t we all wish we had a man so focused, but good at heart.

Smh Aaron is a handful

I actually liked this book. Crazy bcuz I wanted to not like it lol. Aaron imo, is very controlling. A different kind of control than the other Townsend men. Throughout the whole book I couldn't get past the way he specifically threatened/manipulated Patience into marrying him. Back in time, Patience told Aaron "i love you". He said nothing and she was just supposed to deal with it. Now, Aaron said it, Patience couldn't tell him she loved him back and he has a meltdown demanding y can't she say it. Smh it was his constant inconsideration for me. I NEVER got around to liking him and struggled with how Patience could lie him too although they had a certain "connection" sexually that women like myself aren't in to. His disconnect with Patience's emotions, entitlement and dismissivness gave me the 'ick'. Then I leaned of his birthday/zodiac sign (not real heavy in believing everything said about the signs but it's interesting) in the book and it all made sense to me. This particular sign I've NEVER gotten along with lol. All in all, like I said, I liked the book and love the Townsend series.

DAMN WHAT A FIVE STAR READ!!!!

I AM FLOORED!! This story was SO DAMN GOOD! It had everything you could ask for: drama, intrigue, violence, and HOT STEAMY SEX, SEX, SEX! Aaron is the ULTIMATE ALPHA MALE in every since of the word, and the way he loves his wife is so fierce! The sex will have you wanting to find yourself an Aaron, and the way he avenges her is so beyond d next level!’NOTHING LIKE STREET JUSTICE TO MAKE YOU FEEL ALL WARM INSIDE! This story is GRADE A FANTASTIC, and I will be listening to it again, and again!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I knew this was excellent

I knew this would be an excellent story . With two narrators, the inflection of emotions by two humans was excellent. I'll be reading or should I say listening to this version another 50 times.
