An all-new stand-alone from New York Times best-selling author Julia Kent

It all started with the wrong Help Wanted ad. Of course it did.

I'm a professional fluffer. It's not what you think. I stage homes for a living. Real estate agents love me, and my work stands on its own merits.

Sigh. Get your mind out of the gutter. Go ahead. Laugh. I'll wait.

See? That's the problem. My career has used the term "fluffer" for decades. I didn't even know there was a more...lascivious definition of the term.

Until it was too late.

The ad for a "professional fluffer" on Craigslist seemed like divine intervention. My last unemployment check was in the bank. I was desperate. Rent was due. The ad said cash paid at the end of the day. The perfect job!

Staging homes means showing your best angle. The same principle applies in making a certain kind of movie. Turns out a "fluffer" doesn't arrange decorative pillows on a couch.

They arrange other soft, round-ish objects.

The job isn't hard. Er, I mean, it is - it's about being hard. Or, well...helping other people to be hard.

Oh, man....

And that's the other problem. A man. No, not one of the stars on the movie set. Will Lotham - my high school crush. The owner of the house where we're filming. Illegally. In a vacation rental.

By the time the cops show up, what I thought was just a great house staging gig turned into a nightmare involving pictures of me with an undressed star, Will rescuing me from an arrest, and a humiliating lesson in my own naivete.

My job turned out to be so much harder than I expected. But you know what's easier than I ever imagined?

Having all my dreams come true.

This story has sooooooo many LOL moments OMG! It is a really cute and quirky story, however I did not like how much Mallory was in her head. It was a little too much for me.. even in the last chapter she is still in her head about things that should not be at this point in the game… it was redundant and it got annoying. With that being said it was still super funny. Erin did a great job bringing Malory’s personality to life.

Cute and super funny

I can’t believe this series is my first by Julia Kent! I listened to Little Miss Perfect first and I am really glad I did, it wasn’t needed to follow the story but I loved having the insight to Will and Mallory’s last interaction together at high school. The beginning was absolutely hilarious, I had to palm my forehead and shake my head the entire phone conversation Mallory had with Spatula… the poor naïve person! Although, to be fair to Mallory, I don’t know if I have ever heard the term ‘fluffer’ before either… but once I walked in on everything my reaction would have been much different than hers! The characters were great, Mallory was a little bit of a nerd, a whole lot of awkward, but also completely strong when it comes to following through with her life the way she wants. Will was one of the popular guys in high school that Mallory crushed on for four years, with Little Miss Perfect we got to see there might be another side to Will that was hidden and he brought that side out in Fluffy. His first interaction with her since high school had me laughing nonstop, but he was completely swoon worthy the entire book! I can’t wait to see how the story of the friends continue in Perky, especially with the way Fluffy ended!

Erin Mallon did an amazing job narrating, as always. I loved her voices for all the female and male characters… but I might have to say her voice stood out as Perky, she really nailed the brash and balls to the walls attitude of her!
