Goofy, smutty, but good plot & story!

I personally adore reverse harem stories but the only thing that irked be about this book was how the main female protagonist was a tad juvenile at times. I personally dislike when female protagonists “stick their tongue out” or say outlandish silly phrases instead of cussing because it gives the character a childish feel, and that mixed with the smuttiness broke the emersion for me. I understand that’s just what the author gave to the character to make her stand out so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. The story is well written, very detailed and I still enjoyed it all the way through. One of my favorite high points in the last book and one of my favorite book endings so far as a novice adult bookie<3

Yes the smut goofiness and narration all work well

I'm usually drawn in by story reviews that have very polarized opinions. In this case I'm glad I picked up the story. 30+ hours and I didn't speed through the narration or skip any parts of the story. It is a light hearted story, a bit silly at times but the writing is good and the narration was easy to listen to. It seems I'm not on board with those who think it was drivel or that the narration was off. For the person looking for a fantasy without the sex, perhaps stay away from the romance genre? For the person who listened to the entire 32 hours and decided it was crap? Perhaps consider a little more self awareness?

Ok just didn't do it for me.

Not sure what to say, just that it didn't do it for me. I tried but not a book to keep in my library. The lead man just got on my nerves, the reviews were soooooo high I had to listen plus I love a compete series in any book. But I'm not interested in listening again. I didn't feel the passion, the build up of the relationships was nice but No.

Narrators were awesome!

Monster love

I like tall the heroine was so strong yet very vulnerable. Very hard to trust and then came around and showed that the men or shadows in her life are monsters in her life. We’re also vulnerable and how they work together to make their relationship stronger and unbeatable. I like that she was a Phoenix

Loved the series and the narrators. Hope to read more from this author. So glad that she got all her men.

Love this series

Both narrators are amazing and love the plot with steamy scenes. Characters are awesome and series is one that is hard to stop listening to.

I fell in love with them!

Holy smoke and brimstone - What a ride this series was! This was my first intro to Eva Chase and -wow- she did not disappoint. I’m ashamed to admit that I selected this series solely because the red head on the cover looked like a badass and I have red hair (lol) - But I am so glad I landed here. I fell in love with the characters and the storyline and was so sad to see this series come to an end! I will be selecting my next Eva Chase series today!

Great Fantasy Romance

This is a great fantasy romance for folks who have enjoyed SJ Maas - the plot does get a smidge repetitive in the middle, but the characters kept me interested enough to get through. I did not care for Snap's voice from Soorsha' point of view, but that is more of a personal preference!

Growth of Characters shines

Love the changes as the characters get to know each other. Good villains. Interesting world. Easy to hear which character is presenting what part.
