what stood out to me the most was how I could relate to some of the situations scenarios and feelings he went through and how passionate he is about sharing his story.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. Flip or Flop as well as The Flipping El Moussa’s, and Flipping 101 are among my favorite shows I watch and I have alway been inspired by Tarek. I appreciate him telling not only the ups but the real struggles he faced. It made me think “Wow, if Tarek can overcome those obstacles, I can overcome anything.” I especially appreciate him speaking about the rejection he faced when he got started in the business. As a wholesaler I face rejection everyday and it can be discouraging, but Tarek inspired me to keep taking action and moving forward. I like how he likened the need to have urgency when finding a deal or working on a flip to the urgency we should have in life to make our dreams a reality. Thank you Tarek for the beautiful, candid story. You have inspired many people and I know this book will inspire many more. P.S. Overall, I enjoyed this book. Left me wanting to better myself by working as hard as I can. Finally elaborating on his start in the business and what he went through was very nice to hear. If you enjoy Tarek, you will enjoy the book. I’m glad he did his own narration. I would recommend everyone watch some flip or flop before listening to this.

Great story telling

It’s such an intimate read and expounds on what 99.9% read on a news headline. The struggles, repeated rise, and personal growth Tarek takes is inspirational to read about.

Transparency and Courage to overcome anything life throws at him.

The transparency in helping us all understand that even people like Tarek goes through life changing struggles and have overcome them all. It is humbling and it shows us there is no excuses. Thank you for sharing your story!

I wasn't sure what to expect before listening to this book. I've heard of the show and that it was a very big success. The overall journey that Tarek had and the inspirational stories he told, it just goes to show what hard work can do for someone. I highly recommend the book, especially if you're looking for motivation in your own life.

Inspiring and Transformative!!

I listened to this audiobook and loved hearing Tarek tell his story while also offering lessons that apply to everyone along the way. I have been a student in Homeschooled by Tarek for almost 3 years and he tells us the same messages consistently. That program has truly changed my life. And Tarek is the real deal. This book is a summary of all of the inspiration that he has created for me and countless other students. The story is well written and funny and sad and uplifting all at the same time. Great book!!!
