Endearing stories for any season

I was looking for just the right Historical Christmas book this year and of the few I’d chosen, this one was definitely my favorite! I’m old enough to remember the Woolworth store’s in the Chicagoland area that had a lunch counters. This book brought back sweet childhood memories of my mom, my grandma and myself stopping by for lunch on our shopping days. It was actually, the main reason I chose the book. I was a bit surprised however, that each story was faith based. It’s not listed in the description although it does mention a minister and perhaps that should have been my cue. That being said, I didn’t know it would be a theme throughout. It’s not pushy or overwhelming but it was unexpected. I would say that if you do enjoy Historical Romance, each of these stories are well written, fun and sweet. I enjoyed every one and they were unique in their own way, all revolving around Christmas and Woolworth’s. I ended up putting this in my favorites because in my opinion, they would be great to listen to any time of the year! I hope you’ll experience as much joy as I did while listening!

Some of my favorite authors have written charming novellas in this beautiful Christmas collection. One great thing is that you can listen to each novella separately. It's really hard to find novella collections on Audible, especially Christmas novellas. TY to Barbour for making this available on audiobook!
