It is estimated that there are about 3 million shipwrecks lying on ocean floors across our planet. Over 8,000 of them are found in Australian waters. One of these shipwrecks was discovered by the Australian National Maritime Museum in 2009 and involves an amazing story of escaped convicts, the circumnavigation of Australia, the discovery of two major rivers, links to Napoleon, and rescue and reunion.
