The duet narration is still absolutely stellar. And the story… 🤌🏻

I had such a good time with this second installment.

I’m completely gone for Rick, the ultimate teddy bear who cooks, cares, and somehow makes everything feel softer even in the middle of all this chaos.
Fletcher’s energy has shifted into this eager, devoted, almost puppy-like presence, and I love how happy he is to belong somewhere🫠
The dynamic between the three of them keeps getting better, especially the banter.
Fletcher is genuinely funny, quick, and bold, and the way he interacts with both Vienna and Rick just works so well. I laughed a few times at his antics!

Cash being thrown into the mix adds a really interesting tension. I liked how things unfolded around him, especially with the slow reveal of who he is now and what he knows.

And that ending? I mean, the boys and I are worried okay?

Suspense and stakes continue to rise

The suspense continues to ramp up here, and the stakes feel higher. Vienna is juggling her relationships with Merrick and Fletcher while dealing with the fallout from book one, and the guys are slowly figuring out how to coexist for her sake. It's entertaining watching them navigate that dynamic. The mystery deepens, more secrets get revealed, and the tension stays high throughout. The spice is plentiful and well-done. Another cliffhanger ending, because of course. But I was hooked enough to keep going.

I love this series!

it's getting to really know the characters as much as it is progressing in plot. it's interesting wording and idk, it's just really freaking good.
