Good story-Great narration

The author did a good job on world building. Lore, female lead, is a little too whiny and "and why me" than I like in "strong" female leads; but still likeable.

Abraxus is the dark knight and shining armour. By no means perfect; just as a main hero should be in, my opinion.

The plot is a bit predictable only because I have listened to soooo much romantic fantasy. But the author threw a few surprises in that made the overall story a nice listen.

Narration is wonderful. I enjoy listening to the male and female voices. These are 2 of my favorite narrators so that's another plus!

If you enjoy Sarah J. Maas and Jennifer Armentrout, you will likely enjoy this story. It is very similar in theme but much shorter in length. T It was worth the credit for me. I have already purchased the other books.

Captured My Interest

I enjoyed this first book. In the end, I was really hoping for the dragon and half elf. There were surprises and lingering questions. Of course a cliffhanger, which I don’t really like. I will hoverer, check the next book because I want to know what happens next.

A Wonderful and Unique Story

I loved this book. It was fast paced, exciting, and hard to put down! I was too excited to see a Leshy included in a fantasy novel. Emma always does her research and creates my favorite side characters. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Absolute Romantic Fantasy Gold

LOVE this series!! You need to listen to this series. The writing is great the narrators are great!!

Not for me

I was surprised that I did not care for this one! Based on the reviews and storylines I thought I would fall in love but……

this was a very good story. this had everything.... but I male voice was a bit off I think. but I was still able to enjoy the story.

Interesting book

I bought this book so long ago that I had forgotten what it was about but I really enjoyed the story and the performance.

A wonderful story with meh narration

This book wholeheartedly lived up to all the hype and my expectations going into it as a dragon loving Romantasy addict! I loved how both the story and romance unfolded. I fell hard for the MMC as both his story and the FMCs were never rushed, and their connection was really well fleshed out and believable. The lore weaved in is so well written and enchanting, I can’t wait to read the next one! I will say that the audiobook was a bit tough, it has two narrators and the female voice was great but the male reader lacked A LOT of inflection, almost like he didn’t read what he said so he didn’t know when to inflect? One of his voices was a bit over the top which was really distracting. I felt like his narration effected a lot of the story’s depth of emotion and that it was a much much better read without audiobook imo.

one that i will listen to many time's over

I enjoyed this book very much it did not take to long to read 4 days at most in the beginning the male voice actor was a little off putting but after a few chapters the voice started to define his character very well i would definitely buy this story again and will continue to listen to it until the next book is released thank you very much for bringing some good entertainment into my life i struggle to find books that i truly enjoy and that are new keep up the good work

Decent YA not so much NA

This book isn't bad, though there is a lot that feels missing from the story. Definitely written more as a YA which was a bummer as it was recommended to me as NA. Romance is there but definitely no spice. The female narrators voice is wonderful. The male narrators voice is nice but feels like he is reading to 4 year olds and I felt like that was part of why this book wasn't as great and deterred me from reading further.
