Couldn’t put it down, I hope the rest of the books are soon to be released

Enjoyable

This was a sweet story I highly enjoyed. I love a good story where leaving a DV situation turns into a HEA. Chester was absolutely adorable. And I think we could all relate to him in one way or another. Seeing Finn finally get his HEA after a century of believing he wouldn't was wonderful. The epilogue makes me excited for what's next!

Chester and Finn are my new fav Lark couple, second to Seb and Matty! I loved the twist at the end too and can’t wait for Evan and Reid’s book.

This is a phenomenal shifter story and a beautiful love story

Finlay has my heart! This alpha wolf shifter pulls you in with his century old tale of unrequited love and keeps you going with his care and comfort of Chester, the florist.

This story will make you feel a little of everything - angst, rage, heartbreak, touch him & die, and a whole lot of love.

Finlay finds himself the head of the McCarthy clan after a rival clan takes out family members of Danny, the alpha of the McCarthy clan. Danny leaves the area to escape his pain and build a new life outside the supes life. Reluctantly Finlay steps into the role but never opens his heart to find his own love and possible mate. That changes the day he walks into Thistle Will Do - Chester’s flower shop. Finlay needs memorial flowers but finds what he thinks is love in Chester.

Chester has moved to the area by way of an inheritance that came at the right time so he could escape his abusive ex boyfriend. Chester has walled off his heart to ANYONE after the physical and mental abusive relationship with Matt that he recently left.

As Chester and Finlay begin to spend more time together, they learn more about each other & what they need from each other.

As Chester learns more about Finlay‘s world, Chester continues to feel drawn to Finlay and the potential of becoming his meat. As Finley learns more about Chester‘s past relationship, the more he wants to track down Matt and take care of the situation.

This book does a great job of building not only the main storyline but the storyline for the rest of yhe series and the side characters in this book are everything. Lark Taylor does a great job of giving us this story which is the first of the series. The epilogue of this story sets up book 2, and I cannot wait to dive into book 2.

Enjoy the Journey

Goodness did I enjoy this book! My only gripe is that I wanted more… and i have to wait so long for book 2!

I have a harder time reading accents so I opted to listen to this story. I must say Dan Calley did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. It added that extra layer I would have missed just reading this book.

Finn and Chester’s journey was such a pleasure to experience. With protective alpha energy, healing from trauma, spice and loving gestures which included flowers (which I enjoyed being a florist).
