He’s filthy. He’s jealous…and he’s dead set on ruining her.

Wicked. Arrogant. Entitled. They stalk the halls of All Hallows’ like gods.

She hates everything they stand for, everything they represent. But she hates none more than Reese Whitfield-Brown. Her brother’s ex-best friend and the Heir that up and left them without so much as a word.

At least with Reese gone, no one will ever find out her dirty secret little secret.

She’s safe. She can move on with her life.…

Until Reese shows up ready to get revenge on everyone who hurt him.

Including Olivia.

Promising start to series.

First and foremost, the narrators are simply amazing. Their voicing of the various characters is brilliant.

The story is compelling, though I do see why some say it’s “slow”. Around 3/4 of the way through I became impatient for something more than the monotonous, vague references to the big secret. However, this could be an indication of my being firmly invested in the story.

Dark Bully Romance Gold

the series starts with wicked heinous heirs, a short novella that sets the scene for our characters. everything seems to be going great for reese, he's being initiated into the group that rules over the school and can have any girl he wants. but, reese is out for revenge against olivia his best friends twin sister. he leaves her wanting more in the woods outside the party and then vanishes. the series picks up at the end of summer when reese returns to town. he and his mom now live in the one place he hates most: olivia's house. ruining olivia is all the matters to him and nothing can stop him from ruining her, not even their forbidden hookups.

y'all i ate this up!!! i started the novella on a friday and had finished the series by sunday night. i was obsessed from the start because bully vibes were just right to me. as the duet continued i found myself really invested in not only the sizzling, hate-hookups, but reese's story. i just had to know what happened to make him want revenge so badly. i also loved the back and forth between reese and olivia because she gave what she got so well and wasn't afraid to leave him wanting more. overall, this was a fun bully romance that i would definitely recommend!!!

stella hunter and james joseph did a stellar job on this audio and the duet narration made it so immersive from the start!!

Wow

Holy hell this was wonderful!
This is a stepbrother dark bully romance. This had so many tropes and I loved every single one. I loved the dual narration. They really brought every one of the characters to life, not just the mcs which was a huge bonus for me. This was my first book/audio by Caitlyn dare and I’m immediately going to listen to the rest of the series!

Slow but Good

This story started slow a little too slow which is shocking because Caitlyn Dare usually pulls me in at the first few pages. It did end up being a good story and I did start to enjoy it.

I do enjoy the narrators the way they read it together I have listened to books where the male is reading his chapter and speaking in a girls voice on the girls part so this was better the male reading the male parts and the female reading with him even if it wasn’t their chapter. Felt more like I was listening to a movie.

I love the female narrator’s voice the males voice grew on me but I’ll admit I didn’t like his voice in the beginning.

Now I want to continue with book #2 and it is not on audible.

Filthy Jealous Heir

I want to start by saying seeing Stella Hunter and James Joseph as the narrators I had to grab this and I’m torn, James and Stella did a great job as always, the story however…I enjoyed it and it had the back and forth, steamy parts we all crave but I feel like the story was rushed a little bit, the cliffhanger literally left me hanging. Not enough happened to lead up to that point. But of course that’s my opinion. Over all I enjoyed this audiobook and love Stella and James together on anything, they are so talented they really brought the characters to life. Anxious to listen to the second part of this.

Love the audio

I liked the characters Reese seems like a pain to me even if he is hurting. Olivia needs to kick him in the butt an stop letting him basically walk all over at points. Elliot Theo an Oakley are good side characters. I like Elliot more at the moment. Oakley is Olivia’s twin an they have a good relationship. I did like how the story developed throughout. I also like that it’s not a lot of “fun times” in this book sometimes you just need a break an this book gives it.

Don’t forget to also read the prequel to this duet as well.

The cliffhanger at the end has me dying to know what happened an if it’s from who I think it is.

Also I loved that the book is not in American slang but British I believe. Gives it a totally different feel for me an it was interesting to actually look up the words that I didn’t realize what they’re but I knew what the boot was :)

Also Olivia’s friend Charli is a hoot.

The heir chasers are snots especially Darcie she’s just yuck.

Abigail I feel like needs a friend an that friend should be Olivia.

All in all this book is absolutely recommended to anyone.

Holy hell

REVIEW: This book was absolutely amazing. I just learned about this author with an ARC I was offered by @foreverandalwayspr And let me tell you I am so excited that it immediately captured my attention, the plot and then the cliffhanger in this first book and honestly the narration and this is top notch as someone who reads books through audio 98% of the time I can say I am very picky about my narrators and how it’s narrated, they literally knocked it out of the park with the banter back-and-forth each narrator, reading their lines when they’re supposed to talking back-and-forth to each other there’s a few different characters in this book and the narrators got each and everyone of the characters on point. I don’t do my ratings lightly because when I find a book that is rated five stars or a 10 in my “rating”, it’s important to know that those books are 10 and I can fully say that this book is a 10
I will be reading the rest of the heir books because I’m already to invested! The narration of this book has definitely made it within my top five of favorite books to be narrated

i’m also a big fan of when the authors interact with their followers or readers I did message Caitlyn so far I have not heard back, but that’s not going to deter me from not reading her books just an opinion of mine within the community 🫶🏼

Narrators are so so good

Honestly, these are the two best narrators in the world and could make any book worth listening to. This book was a good bully romance though!

What is going on?!

I really enjoyed this first part. I was a bit confused as to why he was so mad at Olivia, but I know all will be revealed in the next book. The Duet Narration is amazing and these narrators did a phenomal job. I felt all the emotions from them.
