This will pick up where Thief left us hanging, the suspense kept climbing, with new twists and turns in every direction imaginable. Kora's story is not an easy one, she is struggling hard in this one, she gets to find her strength and when you think you got it figured out, nope you are sorely mistaken, and another twist and turn it goes. Apollo, Jace, and Wolfe are very different characters, the relationship part, well they don't even have it all figured out, let alone us, but the development we see in this book certainly is appealing. This is an intense wild ride, so be prepared and yes we so need the next book now! The audiobook narrated by Addison Barnes and Tyler Darby is as good as the first one, but it somehow got more intense, I guess they already know the characters and it showed. I love the audiobook, so it's totally recommended for anyone that likes them.

Love the duet Narration & Story

First of all it's so great that the audible is out the same day as the book. Its awesome when audio fans don't have to wait. Next the Narration is duet which is my favorite. it really brings the characters and the story in the book to life and I think it who makes the audio version different and worth it. Especially if you like to do both.

This is second book in this dark romantic suspense reverse harem. If you thought you knew what was going down in book one just you wait. Fighter is filled with twisted & turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.


The relationships go at a different pace which I like in RH. Jace is more of a light enemies to lover's will-they-won't-they. Great chemistry between the two of them especially in this book. Meanwhile the other characters are trying to figure out their relationship after everything they've been through & what it means to share. There are some growing pains with everything that is going on.


Last book saw us on a cliff which has Kora in another bad position. They're trying to figure out how to best manage wolf father's gang & the threats against Kora. And there's even more mystery surrounding Koras past. A standout moment is Jace pretending to be the boyfriend with Kora when her the parents come to visit.


We are left with another omg cliffy setting up the next book in the series. Book 3 is on preorder now :)

Loved this audio!!!

I am so in love with this series!!! This is the second book in this series and with the audio, it is even more captivating than the book alone. The narrators brought life and depth to each character no matter the importance. This is a dark RH romance so if you have triggers read/listen at your own risk. I love audio where the female does all the female parts and the male does the male parts.

Kora is such a strong character and Addison Barnes did an amazing job bringing her to life in audio. Tyler Darby did an amazing job voicing Jace, Appolo, Wolfe, and the other male characters in this audio. While listening to the audio I was instantly sucked in from the beginning all the way to the end. The mystery, angst, and twists and turns had me turning the page to see what would happen next.

I received this audio as an ARC in exchange for my honest review. S. Massery is an amazing writer and I have loved every book and audio I have of hers. If you are looking for a new author this is the author you want to read and or listen to. I follow the audio with my ebook because I'm a nerd like that. She has several amazing series that you do not want to miss.

I can't get enough!!!

I love this books so much, and hearing Addison and Tyler bring these characters to life that i love so much makes it so much more AMAZING!

Holy plot twists, Batman!! I was on the edge of my seat most of this book!!!

Kora goes through so much in this book, and it takes a toll on her. She uses it to fuel her fire for revenge. She grows so much, and has so much character development, I just adore her!

We also get some of Jace, Apollo and Wolfes backstroke and how Olympus started. There is some jealousy happening between the guys and they dont handle it the best. Plus Jace is being kinda sketchy if I'm honest 😂

The spice is *chefs kiss*. The shower scene- 🔥🔥🔥 The scene after a certain fight-🔥🔥🔥. Its all 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

That ending though!!! I can't wait for Rebel!! S Massery is killing this dark reverse harem!!!

The twist and turns will keep you interested from the beginning to the end! Awesome!

Can't get enough

Such a great story! Could not stop listening to this, a lot of great twist in the story and the narrators did such an amazing job. I definitely look forward to the rest of the series.

That ending.....

This book picks up right where Thief left off.. talk about an intense opening! Luckily our girl makes it out but she ends up in one of the last places she would want to be and she still hasn't figured out the fate of all her men. Luckily she gets reunited with them but things amongst the four of them feel different, there seems to be bouts of jealousy amongst the me and its so bad that Kora questions some of their motives. When her adoptive parents show up suddenly in town, at the guy's house, things feel like they only get stranger.

I have so many thoughts but I'm not going to post any cause they would all be considered spoilers but I'm also bursting to talk about them. When I can say is that I devoured the book in one sitting and I love the characters. The plot had plenty of twists and turns but OMG that ending! I seriously need answers and I absolutely need the next book!

The narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life! I seriously can't get enough of Tyler Darby's voice, there is something about his speech pattern and tone that pulls me in. Addison Barnes does an amazing job with Kora's character.

Intense, suspenseful and addicting

Fighter is a real wild ride. Picking right back up where Thief left off, this story just keeps going full throttle ahead.

With more mysteries, secrets and betrayals, we dive deeper into the power struggles behind the charming façade of Sterling Falls and our boys' place within them.
Adrenaline filled and captivating, the plotline thickens as more truths are revealed and more forces come into play in this epic tale, brought to life by the wonderful narration of Addison Barnes and Tyler Darby.

And of course, we are yet again left with a cliffhanger ending, driving us out of our minds with need for more.

Loved the twists and suspense

What did I just listen to?!?!? S Massery has a way of keeping you on your toes until you are lulled into a fall sense of knowing what happens. Then bam a twist comes out of nowhere. So much happens in this book and because of it the development between Kora and the guys is kind of slow but if it was faster it would feel forced. So there aren’t a lot of smexy scenes but the scenes that are there are hot🔥 I’m dying to know where things go in the next book seeing how I did not expect the ending. That cliffhanger has me speechless.

Did not finish…

Ugh the first book had promise but this second book was just… bad! Not even the smut could save this train wreck of a story. I got about half way through and just couldn’t go on… and I’m not one to waste a credit so I tried! Couldn’t do it. Save yourself a credit, you’re not missing anything. :/
