I did not expect that!

I was so excited to get this book and at first I was feeling slightly disappointed, but I’m glad I stuck with it because I can now firmly say it is a five star gave him an emotional roller coaster ride with lots of twists and turns and a moment or a few, I should say of you getting tangled up in your feelings and a promise of an ugly cry. I will forever love this series. People can trash it all they want. No it is not red queen no it is not the hunger games. This is a story all of own Kai Ezra will forever be one of my most favorite book characters one of my favorite favorite book boyfriends! Peyton and Gray is a great representation of finding strength within yourself. When people tell you you can’t do something you show them oh yes, I can! Lauren Roberts did a fantastic job this book.

Incredible narration to pair with a beautiful story.

It has been a long time since I have read something so beautifully done. The performance truly brought it to life. I will be swooning, and grieving over this book for years to come. Truly incredible.

Surprising twist

It did not end the way I thought it would. Definitely took a dark turn that I wasn’t expecting. With a twist I didn’t see coming. I usually see twists, but this one definitely caught me off guard. Narration was amazing.

The Best in the Series

I wasn’t certain how much I would like the Powerless trilogy. I found the first book a bit of a difficult read with a plot line similar to The Hunger Games, little character development, and adjective heavy repetitive writing. I cannot say how much of a 360 this final book in the series is. 100% more captivating with much improved writing, interesting twists, secrets, and betrayals. I’m so glad I decided to continue on with the series.
