Story pretty good except for female lead
I did like the story but the female lead character was pretty bad. She made me cringe and I’m a little worried that the next book will be the same. The story would have been so much better if Ann was more believable and less internally irrational.

Cliffhanger- wordy
Love this author and the story but this book was way longer than the plot necessitated. Seemed a bit padded to create a full novel.
