I like Morgan, and Olivia's storylines... I couldn't tell you what bronwyn did, because I zoned out during
all of her parts. The book would have been fine without her presence.

it's fun

Even the author doesn't seem interested in Bronwyn any longer. but I love the premise, the shared world with Victor, and the other 2 storylines, so yeah, it's fun.

this is beginning to be my favorite series

all of the storylines are interesting and impactful. it can be hard to keep track at times but I have become invested in all of the main characters. I hope this series continues for a long time along with the Victor from Tuscan series.

Oh my a cliff hanger!

Well this was an excellent addition to this series! Lots of action, character interaction and just suspense! If you don't spend the credit your loss!

Easy and fun listen. If you like litRPG fantasy, this is a good read/listen.

Great action and characterization. decent plot well-woven story. looking forward to reading the third one in the series. also, the author has a Victor of Tucson series that set on the same world, which is also just as good if not better in my opinion. hope this review is helpful. I didn't want to reveal any plot points or anything that would destroy or detract from your enjoyment at the book. I'd read the first one in the series. this is the second first for optimum understanding. I apologize for any spelling errors. I'm doing this review with voice to text

MORGAN!!!!!!!!

Like a lot of the other reviews I love the Morgan and Olivia chapters. Still a 5 star in my opinion tho.

So much right with a few thing really wrong

The constant shifting of perspective is distracting and happens just when you start to get into that particular character’s story. I don’t think the author could have created a more annoying gimmick and this whole writing technique is not necessary. You use it when multiple important characters have tightly intertwined story line. For practically the whole of the book, they had nothing to do with each other.

Also, authors have got to stop equating the deaths of characters as drama or tragedy. Pointless death of large amounts of random characters inspire nothing but annoyance.

Great Sequel!!!

This is a really good follow-up with more world building, character development and action. I am looking forward to next book. Bring it on Plum!!!
