Great Background info
This is a great audiobook if you want the hows and whys of working out. It tells you what type of exercises to do and how so they will be effective for older men past 50. The nutritional tips and diet information to pair with your workout routine are especially helpful. I've worked out for years, but it's been getting harder to get anywhere as I have gotten older. The author set me in the right direction with his chapter on goal setting. Now, I work out with a goal in mind, so I'm not aimlessly pumping iron in the gym.

I love this narrator, brings the impact
I like the scientific research with these proven methods to bring a better mindset to improve your life. There's always self improvement but you have to figure out how to get there first. But it's now time with this audiobook as i've learned how to challenge my negative thoughts with new positive outlooks. I now know whats possible within the next few years by visualizing what i can accomplish. These tools have got me staying motivated and i'm ready to embrace challenges because life isn't easy but i have new opinions of my greatest assets. I've had a gym membership but really never gone because of potential injury. But after learning about different ideas and techniques i'm ready to understand these intervals or short bursts periods of exercise and ready to recover my cardio. You're going to enjoy this building strength at home how to stay strong and fit and most importantly how to fuel your mind.

This book provides the blueprint and motivation for men to achieve our health, fitness, and wellness goals as we age. I am in my late 50s and have read several fitness and diet books. There are not many books on the market that I have seen that address the three pillars (health, fitness, wellness) but the author of this book makes it clear that it is essential and non-negotiable that you MUST address all elements (food, diet, stress, sleep, hormones, etc.) if you want to be successful on your personal journey of aging with ensuring maximum level of vitality. This book provides the tenets that you can tailor and personalize for your entry point into this journey.
This book also explores some difficult topics that some aging men experience but avoid talking about (testosterone, prostate, etc.) This book provides explanation and motivation for seeking the right support to resolve these issues and put you back on track to achieve your health, fitness, and wellness goals-
This book was an easy read for me as each of the chapters are methodically presented to build off each other to further comprehension of the information/concepts that were discussed.
I challenge any male over 40 years of age that reads this book, that you will come away motivated and armed with the information ready to begin or tweak your current journey for health, fitness, and wellness-

What I’ve been looking for!
This book was exactly what I’ve been looking for as a 52 year old man! Really resonated with the need for fitness and strength as I have personally watched my father and father in law both struggle with balance and falling due to poor strength from not staying active. Great advice in here!
