FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD!!

This is the second Honey Mountain book I’ve listened to.. A beautifully written second chance romance is unerringly endearing.. Both Sarah McEwan & James Gloucester did a fantastic believable job of narrating these stories.. Thank you Laura Pavlov!! Love this series!!

What a series!

Hawk and Everly were childhood loves, but a death caused
Everly to shut down. Hawk is the Captain of a hockey team.
Can 10 years apart break up a real love? Sarah and James did a
fantastic job. Thank you, Laura for a wonderful series!

Strong narration makes the book more engaging

I liked this more than I expected. I listened to the audio and I think that contributed to my enjoyment. So much of this book seemed to be dialogue. The narrators helped bring the characters to life and I'm not sure I would have felt them as much if I had only read it. Hawk was the perfect man - he forgave Everly easily for breaking his heart and was "all in" pretty quickly. He always said the right thing and gave her exactly the amount of space and support she needed. He didn't feel like a real person but once I embraced the too easy second chance of it all, I didn't mind too much. Everly felt a bit more realistic of a character, though she too had an easier time pushing past her trauma responses than I would have anticipated. But it made for a comforting read with some comedic scenes, swoony lines, and a large engaging community surrounding the two main characters. I'm interested in trying one of Pavlov's newer books to see how her storytelling has progressed.

Great series, I love all her books and the voices were easy to listen to.

Another great story.

When I think I’m just going to listen to the first book in the series and find out I can’t stop with just one book because the author writes characters that are so loving, so fun that I feel like the characters can be my friends and I’m cheering on each character and praying that they each get their HEA. Yes, the series is that good, run to get these books by this author, you’re welcome.

Ever Mine, book two in the Honey Mountain series checks off all the boxes for me and is a wonderful second chance romance where Hawk, a professional hockey player is back in his hometown to try and figure out why his passion for the sport he loved was waning and Ever was hired by his team as a sports therapist to help him figure it out. They have always had a pull between them but circumstances when they were younger drove them apart. Now that they are back in each others lives they have another chance to get things right.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version and the narrators did an amazing job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this story!

So sweet!

this is one of the best second chance books that I have read/ listened to. when you think that it is going one way it goes the other way. and it is Amazing loving this series.

Second chance romance!

This is the second book in the Honey Mountain series by Laura Pavlov. It is a second-chance sports romance that is so easy to read and listen too. Lots of feels, emotions, and great chemistry between Hawke and Everly. These two meet in high school and are the ‘it couple’. They are madly in love planning their future together. Then senior year all the changes when Everly’s world changes. She runs away from her family and the only boy she has ever loved. They fall back into connection nine years later. Their chemistry is incredible. Loved seeing the growth of the two characters in the years. Audio narration was done beautifully by Sarah McEwan and James Gloucester.

Love

I have read other books in this series but jumped at the chance to buy this book (thank you 2 for 1 credits). Sweet, relatively low angst second chance romance that made me smile, tear up a bit and swoon lots. I loved the main couple and Hawk especially, with his obvious love for his woman but also her family and his, really stood out. Absolutely wonderful story with a great narration cast (who were new to me).
