There would be no Taylor Swift without Debbie Gibson. She was a teenage pioneer:the youngest female ever to write,produce and perform her own #1 song. And she did it twice. This audio book really captures Debbie’s fun loving spirit as she makes you just want to be one of her friends. It was so refreshing to learn she never experienced the down falls of so many young artist succumbing to drugs and alcohol. She is a true inspiration and role model for all young girls.

You just gotta love Debbie.

If you are a fan of Debbie Gibson, 1980's pop culture nostalgia or pop music...you have to listen to Debbie tell her story. Debbie takes us through her early days growing up, her big breakout in the mid-1980s and her ability to stay busy decades into her career. I loved her narration (with plenty of bonus singing). Debbie is fun, enthusiastic and just plain likable. Whatever you may think of her...you have to respect her longevity and her hustle.
