Surprisingly Engaging & Smart

I must admit, I only bought this book bc I’m a HUGE Showgirls fan and was hoping to hear interesting tidbits about filming. In reality, I can say I learned so much from Gina’s stories and life experiences, the least of which being from Showgirls. She has led an amazingly fascinating life and has done so many cool things. I just wish as a kid growing up in Farmington, CT that I had known she was just a 30 min drive away doing plays in New Haven. I look forward to hearing/seeing all of your future projects!! <3

My review

Wow, Gina Gershon is a powerhouse! Her story here is amazing and truthful. I loved Gina since I was 15 and saw showgirls. And been a huge fan since. This audiobook is absolutely incredible. I’m so happy to have actually meet Gina at a Con in 2023 sadly I didn’t have a copy of Prey for Rick and Roll, but she did Sketch me at that convention anyway this book is a 10/10!

It's a must listen.

I've always thought Gina Gershon was a very sexy and profound actress. She shares her struggles and victories, luckily didn't swim with the great whites. Although I think she would have became friends with them. Years ago I was watching a show once, concerning a country "American Idol" type show, Gina's sister Tracy was one of the judges, I thought to myself, wow, she must be Gina's younger sister? Now. I know, Gina was little sis. Great book, buy it or listen.
