I really enjoyed it. It was a great ride through the 80’s . Sad tale thought

I really wanted to like it.

I love The Bangles and everything about them. I had read a great review of this book and it was in my queue. I decided to listen to the book, especially since it was about music. However, I bailed out after a few chapters because I did not like the reader. An author should absolutely be able to choose to voice their own book, but I think this would have been much better with a professional voice artist. I may just go buy the book itself when I have time. I do not recommend this audio version.

Great band, mediocre book.

The narration really made this hard to get through. Just not a pleasant voice.

Fascinating journey

It was a pleasure to listen to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows for this quartet and what they had to battle through. The band deserved a biography that was thorough.

weird pronunciations

If not for the topic, I would not have been able to finish with all of the weird pronunciations. I mean, it's AK-ryn, not ak-RON, coming from an Ohioan. Just smh... But I LOVE The Bangles so I carried on.
