Enjoyed

I love paranormal stories. I saw this one on amazon and was very intrigued. I enjoyed listening to the audio. It can be listened to by all ages.

Y.A. Fantasy

This was a well written Y.A. fantasy that kept my interest from beginning to end. It did end on a cliffhanger so I am assuming there will be more books to follow as the adventure continues. I would highly recommend this story to young adults who enjoy fantasy adventures. Adam Verner does a fabulous job narrating. His voices are clear and he puts emotion where necessary into the story. I could always tell who was speaking, male or female. I picked this audiobook book up at free code site and am voluntarily providing an unbiased review.

a princess on the run after her twin killed their father and attempted to kill her. A start to a series that I would like to see what happens next.

Good Start

A very good start to a promising series. Narration is pretty good. Character development lays a decent groundwork for upcoming books. The only negative is the book should have been longer with a better segway to book 2.

Great story

Wonderful story set in a world full of magic and magical creatures. The main character starts out sheltered and unable to take care of herself, but quickly learns how to. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Mixed feelings about book 1

I really enjoy listening to the Alpha Queen Trilogy, so I was very excited for this book. For me, it was hard to imagine a beautiful princess with that manly voice of the narrator. The story was good, however it did lag in spots that went on way too long. However, the story was good, and I am planning on listening to book 2.

A clean light story. Fantasy with limited violence in it.

I enjoyed this well written fantasy. Fantasy with limited violence in it. I was drawn in, it kept me interested right from the beginning. The ending felled me wanting the next book.
If you like fantasy I would highly recommend this story. Its got the lot Fairies, vampires, Giants, hags, goblins, shifters etc.
Adam Verner narrating is wonderful with each character having their own individual voice.
