RFK, Jr.’s views on vaccines and penchant for questioning official narratives have kept him on the fringes of American politics for years. His blistering critiques of the Biden Administration on everything from the pandemic to the war in Ukraine have earned him praise from Republicans. Now, he’s running to beat President Biden in the Democratic primaries. In this lengthy sit-down, Peter probes Kennedy’s unrelenting skepticism about a wide range of issues.

Frustrating attack on RFK Jr

This episode was cited in an article to prove how RFK Jr believes in “conspiracy theories” about 9/11. Which is funny because when you listen to it RFK Jr clearly states that he is not an expert on what happened during the 9/11 attacks and didn’t want to opine on details because he didn’t know enough about it. RFK Jr is a litigator so this makes sense- he does not want to state something that he hasn’t done is homework on and stand by with confidence. Though it was very clear that Bergen was asking very specific odd questions and twisting what RFK Jr was saying in order to later take his words out of context and pin him as a conspiracy theorist. From the start of the interview it was very clear that Bergen was trying to discredit RFK Jr and went full aggressive on him, even though RFK Jr still came out on top as the more intelligible one.
