Moving and very real

The love and the challenges these two face in their relationship spoke to me and helped me look at my own personal barricades and numbers with more compassion. I'll definitely be listening to more.

Painfully relatable

Any additional comments?

It's becoming increasingly apparent to me that my problems are not unique. This knowledge decreases the isolation. It simultaneously hurts to know how many other people, surely many better than me, also can't figure out how to solve them. I would advise this episode with anyone in a relationship who has a recurring, negative, self-defeating internal monologue.

A privilege to listen to.

Listening to this is a privilege- both to share in the couple's exquisite vulnerability and to witness Perel's insightful skill as a therapist. Regardless of your sexual orientation this session illuminates the deeply human and universal feeling of longing and desire to be special to another. This is humanity at its most intimate. Well done.
