Corruption of the media?

It starts off as a disappearance of a 13-year-old girl on her way home from school. Which catches the attention of the media and the pleading of her parents for her to return. After several months of her missing, there was still nothing found regarding her disappearance. After six months there was a breakthrough in the disappearance, but it was a somber one.

After several months of her voicemail not being able to take calls due to being full, it once again started accepting voicemail messages-- something that her parents were incredibly hopeful over.

The second part of this story involved phone hacking regarding the Royal Family as well as others, linking it to the first disappearance of 13-year-old Milly Dowler. The extent of this created a public uproar which led to the downfall of newspaper just to create a story. The News of the World was shut down due to this scandal.

A seemingly unconnected case that happened seven years earlier seemed to tie into the Milly Dowler case. This person would stalk people off of the bus stop and attack them. The entire case seems to have been something from a police novel in how it unfolds. Makes you kind of wonder about humanity at times after hearing this episode.
