Wow…not sure how I feel about this one. I normally love super dark romances, but I just couldn’t really find anything redeeming about the hero Alex. He did a lot of things I normally find unforgiving of a hero and I couldn’t understand why Cosima fell for him as quickly as she did. I’m invested enough that I have to dive right into the second book in the duet, but I’m going in with relatively low expectations.

I also wasn’t a huge fan of the audiobook. Her “Italian” accent wasn’t consistent and I didn’t like the way she voiced the men. I’m hoping that the audiobook experience for book 2 will be better. It’ll have dual narration, so hopefully that will outweigh the female that it’s the same female narrator.

Great story but terrible narrator

Another great story from Giana Darling. Although it was hard to continue listening to this narrator. I had to stop and read rather than listen through audible. The narrator is much much older than the 18 year old heroine.

Needs A Male Performer

Scarlett Day is very good but this book needs a male Brit to perform the European parts. Sorry. Too much violence and sex, but hey, the book is about human trafficking so... guess it goes with the territory. Will I buy the 2nd book? No. I know the issues will all be resolved but the last 15 minutes of Enthralled didn't entice me enough to want to listen to more.

I love it

I've been waiting for this book to come out in audio ever since I read it I'm a Little Confused because are just reading it Scarlet day iis reading all the parts and she has a funny voice I try to listen all the way to the end I I love that takes years to correct But eventually we'll be hope in a second part of the next book since there's a man talking with her that the book is a little bit better it looks a bit better in the sense that the voices the will be better because there's the man's voice that's the only complaint I have The story is beautiful I've read the books a couple of times that they are alone I won the 1st book was 9 Hours The next book is 15 hours in hoPace yourself so so you can really enjoy the books I've read them 2 or 3 times it's a lovely romantic Story

Enthralled

I loved this story! It was amazing being able to see more into this family and this wonderful woman that is Cosima. I loved every second of the story, however the British accent that the narrator portrayed was quite… different. All in all I loved it and I can’t wait to finish this duet!

I Really Tried…..

Could not get very far. The narrator doing too many parts just dragged it down🤷‍♀️
I love Giana’s writing style and her characters, but for me it all comes down to narration for ‘ Audio’ books!

I couldn’t finish it…

I really tried to give this a chance, tried picking it back up multiple times but between the narrator and the actual story it was a big no for me.

Death Penalty

this is NO redemption, forgiveness and/or compassion for a man who purposely kidnaps, rapes, physically and psychologically tortures a teenager for revenge against another. regardless of how he attempts to redeem himself. Death penalty. and to anyone who finds this sexually arousing needs therapy. asking for every dime back. 🤢

Terrible narrators

The story felt like it was rushed, she gave in too quickly I don’t have any problems with what happened in the story as. I’m an avid reader of dark romance, and have no triggers,so I’m not too concerned, what bothered me is that the story made no sense, maybe it’s because I listened to the audio book and the narrator sounded like a 50 year old person, when the heroine is supposed to be 18 , narrator’s gives and takes a lot away from a story the male was terrible his voice just didn’t do it , the story is probably good, but I didn’t enjoy it because of the narrators , and for that I would not recommend the audio version, it was painful to listen to

Disappointed

This book was awful, the reader, story, everything. I got to chapter 5 and I can’t listen any longer.
