I love the way this is going. the story is super interesting. the characters are fun and the cultivation process is mesmerizing. Where's the next book?!?!

Loving the story

This is a great 2nd book to the series. Everyone grows, new characters added, world deafened. The MC is still a little annoying in his attitude but not more than expected with his upbringing. Overall a great next step. Can’t wait for the next!

I can't wait to continue the story

All I can ask is that Ryan DeBruyn gets back in his cage and keeps writing. Seriously I need the next book completed and available on audible asap. I enjoyed this long awaited follow up more than I thought I would, and my expectations were high.

Rushed at the end

The end was massively rushed, and do we really need 30 minutes of bluppers?

I really like this book series so don't get me wrong, but the ending was really rushed and I'm concerned the next book is just going to be "flash backs" to fill all the information that was skipped over.

Good series… but…

The MC is annoyingly stupid sometimes. It feels like an unnecessary amount of incompetence is being used in an attempt at character development. At first his sheltered upbringing makes his incompetence endearing. But the author presses on with this far to long, and it eventually becomes aggravating.

Give me more!

I am really enjoying the story. It is getting really good, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

clever premise and engaging characters

having read all the series by this author I think this is easily his best. fun characters. lots of action. and a clever world to suck you in. I lost multiple hours of sleep listening to this and the first book

chi overload

the book is great, and learning the different characteristics of chi and how they relate to one another is something we as the readers need to know to understand the story. I also think there was to much time spent explaining all of that.

n so far I'm not a fan of the mom chapters
