Monsters ,quest and rescue

Love this series and it keeps getting better more of the story unfold more quest are complete revisit old village get new quests new enemies

ACTION!!

If you love lots of grand adventure this is the book for you. There is very little swearing, which I totally love. Too many of the books with lots of action in them are just filled with F bombs or sexual innuendo. This is refreshing in its good honest fun.

Our hero, Ryan, is truly a great guy. I love this. He helps others and is kind when he can be. This doesn't mean that he won't through down and get the bad guys, but it means that when he has a choice, he chooses to be one of the best. I have been burning through the series and couldn't love it more.

Some series get bogged down with boring technical details about running a city/ country. What snoozers! This book just keeps the adventure coming. You move from one exciting battle to the prep for another battle. Then while your head is still spinning it's time to get ready for a journey where Ryan will be tested yet again.

Highly recommend. One of the best series I have read.

favorite new series

there are a lot of tropes that seem to be directly borrowed from other, older litrpg and gamelit series. but to me, that is the beauty of this genre. it's almost like one big story, told from many perspectives. this series is very well done in my honest opinion. I just hope this story had an end, as that is one of the biggest issues I have with this genre. I love the characters, the world, the story, and definitely the extremely talented MacLeod Andrews. love this series. can't wait for more.
