Pyrean factions engage in a struggle against one another to possess Aurelia and use her to gain the upper hand. The ultimate prize is the complete domination of Pyre.

a great short spinoff series

read silver ships series first and you will inevitably run to this book series then back to the silver ships and so on. this was a great opening to a short run spinoff book series. I have all the books for the silver ships and this series. look just give them a try and you will fall in love with these books...

Re-release

I had already listened to this title when it showed up in my library as being newly released. I didn't need to re-buy it. It is a great book. It's just confusing since it is the same as the old version so far as I can tell.
