Too many characters using the same narrator's voice. It became very confusing as to which male or female character was speaking. consequently the story was too difficult to follow. In addition, the male narrator’s voice was very flat, monotone. I restarted certain sections several times to see if I could follow which character was speaking.
The male narrator needs to be changed. This book seems to be a precursor to another book or books to follow. If that is the case it would be of benefit to have more than two narrators or less characters talking throughout the story. And in all cases, the male narrator needs to be changed.

Love Clark brothers I love the fact that they’re all into law-enforcement❤️ and the men love and respect their mothers and take good care of her AKA spoils her ❤️

I love this author and this could’ve been a great but the male narrator was horrible. His slow and unenthusiastic reading made you loose focus on the story. He should have never been pair with the greatness of Wesleigh Siobhan who never disappoints. Where is Jakobi Diem????.
