Osho describes unconsciousness as the basement of our minds in which many things are buried, which find expression through your conscious. Like, millions of people watch boxing or football matches and their enjoyment is the expression of hidden violence.

He gave advice on how to release emotions effectively in the privacy of your house. Osho mentioned that so many people are repressing emotions and throwing their problems in the so-called basement. The issue is that given the right situation or circumstances those repressed emotions will come up in another way. So someone cuts you off in traffic and your ready to run them off the road, it's not really what that person did so much as you having an outlet for negative emotional expression. The key takeaway here is how to express those negative emotions privately as they come up. In this talk Osho used an example in which he told a story of how we should be in the world, the person that is reacting in an uncontrolled way, obsessively or angrily don't take it personally, that's their problem: sometimes you are on outlet for their unexpressed emotions and a Buddha would recognize this and not take it personally. I don't wanna spoil the story here given how short this talk is however I will say this was an excellent topic for anyone dealing with anger, bitterness, self-hate and sorrow.

Osho gives advice on dealing with emotions.

And to be honest it's boring.... I don't
recommend this. Better to check more practical books like books from Michael A. Singer

This is not a book it's a talk

This is a talk. Better to watch a YouTube video rather than this audio ! Sigh!

It’s not a book or long interview… I have used one credit for nothing. It’s just like a 40 min question he answers.
