Humanity is divided in three types of persons: Believers, atheists and agnostics. For Osho, this last type, the agnostic is far above the first two and it is something intrinsic to the true seeker. Nevertheless, there is a fourth type of person, one that does not fit in any of these categories: The Gnostic, the one who knows. Listening to his direct and simple style, we rediscover the courage to doubt while we move into the unknown.

“To remain in doubt needs tremendous courage. Not to escape from doubt is one of the fundamental qualities of a seeker, and belief is an escape. It covers up your doubt, and it gives you a sense of relief, a false confidence that you know, although deep down you still know that you know not.”

Osho has lots of great content but this was a rare talk where it just wasn't as good as most of the others. This was a comparison between Atheist, Theist and Agnostics or those who know that God is real, those who know God isn't real and those who know they don't know. At the end he introduces the Gnostic who knows the truth but words cannot define it because the experience is beyond words. Agnostics come the closest but the Gnostic is really the knower. There was a point Osho made at the end that prayer is always a business arrangement, people are either asking God for something or telling him how great he is to boost his ego. The content was decent but this talk was more defining definitions and showing what the differences between these people are. At the end his recommendation is to meditate, then you can have gratitude while not asking for anything.

Definitions about believers versus nonbelievers are examined.

I really enjoy from the concept of comparison between deep meditation and prayer & also how can we achieve pure praise
