Joyful, playful wisdom
I've just finished listening to this audiobook for the second time. I have this book in paperback and my children enjoyed the story and colourful little LiaBots immensely. As a "big" kid, listening to Dr Debra narrate this story was incredibly enjoyable. Her voice is a delight and I can't imagine any child not being riveted by her wonderful story-telling ability. I actually had a laugh out loud moment myself when these cheeky little LiaBots ventured to the border of "No-land".
I imagine that many people would not consider the Tao a kid's story topic, but the way these colourful and energetic characters portray these subtle yet powerful energies in our life experience is brilliantly done. As parents and adults, we sometimes forget how wise our children are in the moment of their exploration and discovery and this story is a lovely demonstration of imagination, exploration and adventure into the unknown with the great intention of exploring curiosity and wonder.
This book is two thumbs up (and all my fingers and all my toes)! Looking forward to Emilia Rose's next adventure.
