Intricate story line , had to focus to not miss any of the plot lines being brought together in the last chapters of the book.

I love a book to have multiple story lines that keep the action moving, and problems that have to be worked out to make the final smooth finish to the story. This book kept up the suspense right to he end. Very enjoyable story!

The plot

It had unique twists that I didn’t anticipate. I will continue with the series. I gave it 4.5 ⭐️

Mary Jo Putney is a first class author. Well written characters with a fun story.

Long chapters

I love the story just wish the audio version would have been for.After differently. A case of amnesia and a character needing the protection of marriage.

A wonderful love story

l would happily recommend this old English love story to book clubs in my town.
