Still a Hit

The David Wolf character remains interesting and complicated. I love his strong, confident, gentle nature. I also appreciate that his moral compass is strong- he's not a man who can be bought.

This particular case was intense and surprising, with twists I didn't see coming. But perhaps the best part for me was discovering that Mr. Strong & Confident was losing his MOJO over a marriage proposal.

Awesome series.

Another great performance

I love this series...is it bad that I can't wait for the next installment and I've just finished this one!? And once again, Sean Patrick Hopkins delivers a flawless narration.

While I didn't find this installment of the series as compelling as the previous installments, it was great to catch up with the David Wolf family. David's personal life finally seems to be moving in a more positive direction, albeit at a snail's pace, but I'm hoping the events within are a glimpse into him finally getting his happy ending. Please Mr. Carson, hasn't he been through enough? Hahaha!

Good book

I am so hooked on these books. I can hardly wait for the next one!

great characters

I just finished binging this series. The stories are full of good people doing things that only people with integrity can do. In a time when we are struggling socially with integrity, it was a refreshing story line in each book that the good guys can still prevail.

Perfectly told story.

The 17th installment keeps this perfect story chugging along. A lot of twist and turn as this story unfolds.

An Exciting Thriller

Another great story in the lives of the sheriff and detectives. I have read all of these Jeff Carson books and have to get the next one as soon as it comes out.

David Wolff series

Having listened to the entire series, I find I want more!!! The narrator is perfect for this series and I have thoroughly enjoyed the mystery in each book.

Good story, but disappointed

The story was good. I am disappointed that a blood test for rabies was part of the story. If there was a blood test that would be great, but brain tissue has to be tested and it requires euthanasia of animal. Wasn’t relevant to the story so why make up something like that. Fiction is fiction, but we learn so much from the story surrounding the fiction.

Jeff hits another homer!

I Thoroughly enjoy the story lines and look forward for more! Just hope the author doesn't eliminate another wife! Good modern day western.

Love this series!

I really like this series. I cannot wait for the next book!! Maybe Wolfe will finally have a happy ending to a relationship.
