Harem noir

I didn't think I needed a book like this in my life. The entire story had me at the edge of my seat. I can't wait to see more of this world from the authors. Keep it up.

A grain of salt.

Do take this review with a grain of salt,i enjoy fantasy books and i dont really enjoy detective or crime books. i also couldnt bring myself to finish listening to this book but i think that might be due to personal preference more than anything really.
The writing for the book is great and the voice performers are perfect and it's obvious that they put a lot of effort into their work.
the only negative aspects that i personally noticed was that a few things are repeated often to the point that it gets annoying or that it feels like it was simply added for word count.

Virgil and Peter surprise me again

I know Virgil wrote Master Class but never in my dreams did I expect a gritty, hard boiled detective fantasy out of him. The authors nailed the pulp noir style of the 1930s and 1940s. For lovers of pulp novels, Sam Spade, Etc all wrapped up in a dread fantasy world.

The narrators are spot on bringing this whole gritty world to life. Couldn't as for a better rendition.

Exhilarating and Gritty

Exhilarating, Noire-style, story. Jonathan's narration brought the gritty life of Ebonreach and its inhabitants to life as if watching a movie, Sin City style. Aurora did an excellent job in bringing Seravanah and Amaretta to life. Her singing as Seravanah was so beautiful.

Great New Book!

Well paced, action packed, sci-fi fantasy pulp noir story that is a thrill to read. Pick it up, you will not be disappointed.

Very Well Done

Virgil Knightly and Perter North did a fantastic job with the characterization. I loved the grittiness of the world and characters in it. They did a fantastic job making Magi Punk and Noir core elements to the stories identity, We don't have of Noir Detective stories in Haremlit so I'm happy to count this one among them.

I hope we get a book 2.
