Publisher's summary

Territorial growth. Ancient conspiracies. The apocalypse is getting worse.

Rockland Barkclay was saved and pulled into an alternate realm moments before his death. He thought that sacrificing himself would save the Grotto and give them a chance to prosper. He wasn’t expecting to open his eyes, reborn on the altar.

Gaia has ordered the Golems to protect humanity, but their "protection" against the environment is sending humanity to the brink of starvation. Rocky needs to find his family, and his only option is to search through survivors one by one. Every person saved increases the population of the Grotto, but is also another mouth to feed.

After saving thousands and not finding a single familiar face, new intelligence reaches the Grotto: sending Rocky against a challenge that even the King of Apes couldn’t overcome.

Worth buying for the Luke Daniels outtakes alone.

The story alternates between stagnation and moving way too quickly, but if you liked the first two, you'll like this one. Luke Daniels is, as always, a joy to listen to; a master of the craft.

Simply Awesome!

I love this series!! I love the idea of having the system on Earth, I love the integration of low key city building, but not bogging down the main story line with too many details. This series has captured my attention from the first time I listened to it, I highly recommend this series to any fan of the LitRpg genre

THIS SERIES IS AMAZING! AND BOOK 3 IS THE BEST!

It is a solid LITRPG! And what I love about this book is that it isn't to heavy on LITRPG and the author concentrates on the story.. Check it out!

YOU CAN'T END IT THERE!?!?

Oh boy. I not sure what to say. I don't want to spoil anything so I guess I just say this. Narration is great and the story continues to excite. Hopefully book four comes out sooner rather than later.

love this

I love the story The only thing I think is overplayed is seems like just about every book from the genre has a protagonist that has anger issues.but honestly I think my favorite part was the bloopers xD

Ready for the next one

I've definitely enjoyed the combo of litrpg and apocalypse, and am looking forward to the next book. I will say just at the end when I'm about to be mad about the wait for the book along comes the blooper reel to remind you humans need time to do things.
Hats off Ryan Debruyn for a great story so far and Luke Daniels for bringing it to life for us.
