  • Zephani Idoko was born to Nigerian parents John and Deborah Idoko, on March 17 1994.

    She trained at Academy of Art university in San Francisco where she earned a BFA in Acting for Stage and Film and began her professional career.

    Shortly after her graduation and subsequent move to New York, she was cast in the lead role of Abena in Horror feature, The Unsettling. Which follows a West African couple's vacation to LA and the problems that have followed them, and seem to be amplified by the house they've rented. The Unsettling is primed for a 2022 release.

    As of Mid 2021, Zephani is working on her role in Nikyatu Jusu's feature, Nanny. The script for which, landed on the 2020 Black List and was selected for the 2019 Sundance Institute Creative Producing Lab & Summit, Sundance's 2020 Writer's Lab, and the 2020 Director's Lab.

    Zephani currently resides in New York City. Working and splitting her time between there and LA.
