slightly annoying

constant lips lips lips face face face... who cares about their every lip movement. all this person's books are like this so far, I like the stories but geesh. .. if all the facial movements were cut out, I feel like the books would only be half the length. and lots of repetitive information. don't need to hear about someone's handsome or beautiful face more than once.. once is description enough.. don't need the constant reminders...... love the stories but these parts are just terrible.

amazing

beautiful writing and constantly kept me engaged. I thought the very end was a little rushed but this book deserves 5 stars and I can't wait to listen to the next one.

fun story

I enjoyed this story but there were many times I wondered where was the editor. Many times the author would use the same phrases over again or same descriptions within the same paragraph. It often felt redundant. Despite this though I still enjoyed the story.

Fantastic!!!

This is going to be one of those series of books I will listen to over and over again! The narration is amazing and Tinalynge is one of my new favorite authors. The world he creates is vast and encompassing, don’t miss out!

Mis used words

Good story but inconsistent details and the wrong words are regularly used for the meaning they are trying to convey

Nothing really exciting

Story is just not that exciting. It’s like the author tries to throw out events that should be really good, but the over exaggerated outcomes still are not very exciting. It’s like the author feeds up the obstacles the MC has to overcome and the MC does it without any doubt. lol. No logic or anything just boom success. Also what’s going on with the caves?! Terrible. Also doesn’t the MC have caves on the inside of him they talked about?! What happened to them. The whole steel and bone thing was different but didn’t go anywhere. Lol. I’ll try the next one but only to see if it got better!

Book could be half as long.

Stopped halfway. It felt to me the author would explain a scene and then in the next paragraph explain the scene again only slightly differently and this was often. Also you were constantly reminded that one of the main characters had this ability or skill or what have you every single chapter. I think the best way I could put it is ‘redundantly descriptive’. It became tedious for me and even speeding up the reading didn’t help. The plot itself is fine. The performance is fine. Also the absolute loyalty with The main character didn’t feel realistic to me, like they were only an extension of Hui Yue rather than unique characters at times. There are very few books I don’t finish and this one I just couldn’t do it.

Lacking polish

The awkward/repetitive writing and a few very annoying voices hold the book back. I did enjoy the story, but found it hard to stick with at points due to these factors.

The Author set the world on Easy Mode

And expects you to be impressed as the MC continues the Com-Stomping from the first book. This book is okay. Read it if you have nothing else to do.
