Publisher's Summary

A week ago, all Gabriel wanted was to graduate and settle into a boring but safe job. Last night he tore a man's soul out to save a gorgon.

He's never felt more alive. But their victory over his longtime bully provides only a short reprieve. There are darker threats than greedy adventurers hidden deep beneath Lostbarrow, and more enemies await in the city above.

Gabriel's new life as a Dungeon Master has been filled with violence. But after bonding two incredible monster girls, he wouldn't dare change a thing. With their help, he might be able to last long enough to settle into his role...if he can recover the stolen crystal before it's too late.

Can Gabriel and his bonded defend the Core and track down the sorceress who betrayed him?

Disclaimer: Dungeon Bound contains casual nudity, explicit sex, sexy monster girls, a growing harem, a fantasy world with magic, game mechanics, violence, revenge, crude humor, profanity, dungeon cores, dungeon masters, magic, home invaders, an exhibitionist, ritual sacrifice, and a dungeon.

much improved overall from the 1st

first of all andrea parsneau is a goddess. literally anything she narrates is immediately better. second, the character progression was better than the first. third, even though only like 2 or so weeks have passed since the first book the story is definitely a slow burn... which is ok. overall the story and performance are great. different spin on a whole lot of stuff ive listened to before. I recommend you listen to the first if you haven't and if you have then definitely listen to the second.

So friggin good

Ok this series is ridiculously good. I cannot stress enough how much I have enjoyed this series, and to top it all off, it’s narrated by the great Andrea Parsneau. Seriously, do not hesitate to pick this one up!

Story got boring and stops progressing.

First Andrea does a great job with the narration. Haven’t heard a book she does bad.

The first book was good and interesting. Was hoping this series would go better then dungeon deposed as in the second book of that series the MC completely changed and F’d the story. This book of the series just really stops the story progression. The story can’t progress unless the group has the time to go get the stupid stone they need but the dungeon core is in danger every 5 seconds. So there is no way in hell the group can go get the stone. They might as well just give up because the dungeon is going to keep wining and being in danger.

Let Down

First of all, let me say that Andrea Parsneau is amazing as always. That being said, rhis second book started off decently I mean I'm not exactly expecting Epic Level writing here so I was pretty happy with what we've got so far. But the MC keeps persistently doing stuff so obviously dumb that it is becoming annoying. Like, "oh wow this altar is obviously getting more evil", and "wow look here's another alter that's completely evil", and "wow I keep using this evil feeling spell and I keep hearing these evil voices in my head more and more", and he just keeps doing it. Also, new girl that is introduced is beyond annoying. now if you would enjoy a girl who does nothing but insult people and whose entire vocabulary is limited to four-letter words oh, then by all means this might be your book.

I recommend it

first the narrator is someone that I'm familiar with their work and she always does a fantastic job. Next is the narrator of which this is his second book and first series. keeping that in mind I think you did a fantastic job and I recommend this series to anybody reading this review.

Side quest after side quest.

This is the last book I'll read from this author. Stringing on the story at this point with random distractions, still hasn't managed to get the mcguffing to save his dungeon from book 1. The fight scenes are too long with all the innermonologing and evil monologing, the magic system is weak and slow, meaning it takes several paragraphs just to cast a spell.

Worse, most of the characters are starting to grate with all of the name calling that the author wants us to believe is endearing but it just isn't.

An ever-improving masterpiece

Andea is a brilliant V.A. - and the story that Bastion has set out continues to thrill and entertain.

i look forward to Book 3's Audio release - and most of all, all other books to follow.

This Polycule of Monsters makes me eternally happy - and the stakes of this book have continued to feel important and essential. Not to mention the BRILLIANT world description and combat coreography.

A Fantastic Addition to the Saga

Immediately following the events of the previous book and filled with more unique characters, action, adventure and romance. As always Andrea brings it all to life and I'm still loving this one even after having read the book a couple times.
