Publisher's Summary

The Blue-Collar Lover Series Meet the Carter brothers, five hard-working men with a lot to offer. They may not be wealthy but they're rich in integrity and loyalty--not to mention sex appeal. They just need the right women to share their world. . . At thirty, eldest brother Byron hasn't dated seriously in a while--not since he became a single dad to his beloved baby girl. Besides, he's found that most women can't see past his job as a bus driver, and he's not interested in that type of superficial foolishness. When he meets Cynthia Hall, her disinterest is obvious. Still, there's something about her. . . Cynthia has been successful in her career and unlucky in love. But those two worlds collide when Byron ends up in her office on business. It's a coincidence that casts him in a very different light than she's previously seen. Too bad he's not the upscale professional Cynthia had in mind. Yet given the chance, she might discover that while money can't buy happiness--a loving and passionate man can…

Good Book

Lol, this book was actually good. I been having a debate with myself and wondering if Bryon is a big guy or not. But when he said muhfa and she started saying it had me dead weak. Lol glad she chosen Bryon in the end. Lord knows I couldn't stand Cynthia mom at all.

Enjoyable!

It was very enjoyable to listen to a story about a man sweeping a woman off her feet and not wealthy. Just making the right choices to make his woman happy without a balling out of control budget.

Don't judge a book by its cover - 2 snaps

Awesome read. 1st I love everything Zuri Day. I haven't read a bad book yet.

Although home girl maybe a bit bougier (sp) than me, I can totally relate. Her and her crew are educated middle/upper and desire men of the same socio-econ status. I don't see anything wrong with that. Sometimes, God places people n your path for whatever reason. I think this book painted a picture stating no one is better than the next - we are all people. Buuuut, that mama though - way to0 much.

There were very many developed & interesting parts. Very refreshing read.

Enjoyed - I struggle w/Blue collared selections in men - who knows, I could be stifling my prospects.

Good story, Not her greatest work

This is the typical love story. However, I did enjoy it. I couldn't believe the audacity of her mother, and I was highly disappointed that it seemed that Crystal fought alone. I would recommend this book.

Simplistically Good

After listening to a few more graphic urban fiction books recently this was a welcomed change of pace. It was a bit dry / slow in some parts but Byron made me chuckle a time or two and the ending was a happy one.

Ok

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this author didn't use God's name in vain. You don't have to use " GD " to have a great book. I would have given it 5 stars if not for that. I wish this book was a movie or TV show.
