Publisher's Summary

Sparks fly, secrets are revealed, and perilous adventures begin when Chloe helps Tristan escape.

While on a mission from inner Earth to the Earth's surface, the evil subterranean meta-naturals intercepted Tristan's vessel.  Taken to a laboratory run by a mad scientist, he is sedated and forced to participate in testings on himself and genetic experimentation.

In the meantime, private investigator Chloe Kennsington infiltrates the laboratory while on a missing persons's case. When she discovers Tristan, the chemistry between them is profound.

Just ok

The story was Ok. This was really pnr with insta love. A couple of things bothered me like the sadness of the grandparents over the type of woman Tristan brought home. There really was no purpose for it. Also an issue with the cave scene where he assumes she left him and continues cooking, eating and sleeping. Several dangling threads. It was just Ok. The narrator was good. Voices were unique. Her American accent definitely had a midwest accent. Her pronouncing of "idea" as " idear" drove me crazy.
