Resumen del Editor

I won’t be forced into alien servitude.
I’ve spent my life mucking out the houses of the rich and famous. I know what they’re really like.
They think they can take whatever they want.
I learned that the hard way.

Royalty? They have got to be worse.
I’m not interested in any of them, not even an alien prince.
I was supposed to be heading to another planet for a one-year housekeeping contract.
Instead he bought me out.
Does he think he can own me?
I don’t want him.
I won’t submit to him.
So why is he so...nice?

Niall is unlike any rich guy I’ve ever known, but I still can’t trust him.
Not even when he treats me well.
He calls me his fated mate!
But he’s an alien prince and I’m a housekeeper.
We don’t belong together.
So why do I want to kiss him more than I want my next breath?

Hop on to the space ship for Maid for an Alien Prince, where a smart and tough human housekeeper meets her fated mate in the form of an alien price!

Just Boring

The story had no hook, no tension. It was very bland. The LH and the ML had no charisma. I just didn’t really care. A shame in the romance genre.

pronunciation of names drove me crazy

the storyline is basic. the characters feels a little paper thin. you don't feel strong emotionally attachment to them. the female main character is portrait as strong yet she whines alot. the main male character is basic nice perfect prince. I found myself rolling my eyes a lots.
over all its pretty cliche but I knew this ans wasn't looking for a complex storyline to listen while I work.
What drove me crazy. is the narrator switching all the time in the pronunciation of Britney. or Brittany I still don't know what's the actual name of the main female. it's keep switching on and of. once sentence she would use the word Britney and the very next Brittany.

Main female character (roll eyes here)

The story was ok but I think it was just really hard to like the main female character. She was whiny and judgmental to a point where it was just over the top. If that was some kind of coping skill then it was a miracle that she got over it without a therapist.

The story was ok but the narration voice was terrible. I couldn't really enjoy the book because of the narration.

Wow, been a long time that a story is so bad I DNF

I stopped at chapter 4 because I just could not handle the whinging of the FL anymore, I was becoming agitated listening to her paper thin reasoning for every grievance know to man to cry about. So cringy, I regret wasting a credit on this.

Whine, Cliche, Unrealistic, and Repeat

Whine, cliche, whine, cliche, unrealistic, cliche, unrealistic, unrealistic, unrealistic, cliche, inconsistency, whine... Get the idea?

At first I was interested in this book because the heroine is going of her own freewill (not abducted), and not to be a wife, but for well paying honest work. The author had a real chance with that, but she ruined it with bad writing. I’m only a few chapters in and I can’t stomach this.

The heroine:
Why do so many characters in this genre have to start out with an extended whine-athon about how bad their life is? Ok, she works herself to the bone and is still poor, we get it, she doesn’t have to whine about it for an entire chapter! And we still know nothing about her other than she works hard, is attractive, and poor.

Then, when she finally decides to change her situation, instead of something realistic, like moving to a cheaper city than NYC, she makes a choice that is seemingly out of character for her. She goes on and on about how she would never go work for the exchange program, but is then convinced to change her mind with very little effort on the sales rep’s part.

Lastly (regarding the heroine), it says she closely reads the contract, signs, and then immediately she discovers there is a change in destination planet that she supposedly didn’t see in the contract that she just READ and signed. It would be one thing if she hadn’t read it, but it’s clear that she read it carefully - she wouldn’t have missed the change! It’s totally illogical!

The hero:
Simply put: What prince, next in line to be the king, would work a corporate/office job????

Then, he believes he’s too busy with work for a wife, but supposedly he’ll have more time for one once he’s king. WTH??? He also cleans his own home because he has no staff (Yeah, right! He’s royalty!), but he’s starting to think that he is too busy to clean and should hire a maid.

When he is in the same space station as she, he feels a pull towards her direction that he has no clue what it is. If his species had a mating bond that was felt like that, he would have heard of it and had some idea of what was happening, especially if he were the next king. The hero also feels rather weak and pathetic so far.

Maybe that is explained later, but I didn’t get that far due to how bad everything in total is so far. If it was just one thing, like the annoying whiny beginning, but got better after that, then I might be able deal with reading this book. But one bad element after another is just not bearable.

Overall: Can I give it zero stars?
Performance: I can’t say anything against the narrator. It’s not her fault the book is badly written.
Story: The overall plot isn’t even all that interesting (despite the non-abduction/non-mail-order-bride originality).
