Now that 75 percent of screen time is spent on connected devices, digital strategies have moved front and center of most marketing plans.
But what if that's not enough? What if most people ignore company messages? What if consumer engagement never goes further than the "like" button? A sobering reality is hitting marketers. Technology hasn't just reshaped mass media, it's altering behavior as well. And getting through to customers will take some radical rethinking.
First step is to toss the linear plan. Next is to strip away conventions, open your mind, and join Disruptive Marketing on a provocative, fast-paced tour of our changing world....
- Where selling is dead, but ongoing conversation thrives
- Where consumers generate the best content about brands
- Where people tune out noise and listen to feelings
- Where curiosity leads the marketing team
- Where growth depends on merging analytics with boundless creativity
Packed with trends, predictions, interviews with big-think marketers, and stories from a career spent pushing boundaries, this book will propel you out of your comfort zone and into the disruptive mind-set you need for future success.

Would you consider the audio edition of Disruptive Marketing to be better than the print version?
I believe it could be enjoyed in print or audio. The author tailors the story with listeners in mind so it is easy to follow, and his voice is not annoying. What does Geoffrey Colon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Geoffrey Colon tells personal stories throughout the book so it adds to the stories when you can actually hear his voice. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I enjoyed hearing about his projections of future marketing tactics, which helped shape your mind to be a forward thinker.Any additional comments?

Not because the book is unclear, but perhaps because it's profound. At least as profound as a book about marketing can be:)
After having finished it, I looked forward to relistening.
I did so, a few weeks later.
And after that second relisten, which happened maybe two months ago now: I feel like relistening for the third time.
I guess it's a marketing mind-bender, to me, this book:)
The narration is good too. When I give five stars for narration, it's because the narrator adds something special to the experience. I think he does so in this instance. Good job.
Needed. Valuable. Welcome contribution.

This book is ideal for those who want to think differently, but just need some guidance towards that first step.
Pick it up, listen to it, reflect, learn...then listen to it again.
