Narrator better than expected

I read the reviews before purchasing, and yes I agree the narrative sample had me somewhat discouraged, but I previously enjoyed another audiobook from this author (Riley Anderson), so decided to listen to it entirely and give it a chance, afterall, I can return it if displeased. The narrator's (Katty Ann) voice grew on me to the point her accent began to arouse me. Some words are not clearly pronounced, but that's not a distraction either. No, I'm not returning this audiobook, this is a keeper!

i personally did not like the narration. It sounds as if there should be an echo but there is not one.

Too much like a formula

This story is way too stiff. It is just reading a script. The reader doesn't put any feeling into the story.
