good book

this book I'd very dark romance and you you can't handle Violence a brutal torture The best book is not for you. but if you can over look that part of the book this you can understand why this book is so good.

Such a great story! Loved the twist, and turns. The story had such sadness, tragedy, and loss, but from the ashes love prevales Fantastic job by thr author. ❤️❤️

This author is new to me and I have to say I was blown away. I will definitely listen to more books by this author.

BUCKLE UP, HOLD ON.. & REMEMBER TO BREATHE

O..M..G this was hard-hitting, very very dark, brutal, suspenseful, heartbreaking and very intense.. and it should DEFINITELY come with a trigger warning of kidnapping, emotional and physical torture and rape. Gian and Daniela both go through absolute hell in this emotionally disturbing, well-written conclusion to their bitter-sweet arranged marriage Mafia story. If you’re still reading this then great, you’re into dark romance too.. but heed my warning because I think this is the most brutal, heartbreaking and traumatic book I’ve personally listen to. However, there isn’t only violence and its emotional aftermath.. there’s a deep beautiful love, character growth, strength, tenderness, healing and a happy ever after. There’s also Mafia manoeuvres, bitter betrayals and revenge in its dual POV drama-filled chapters.

Worth a credit? I’ll be honest here, there were times I just had to get off the ride for a while and breathe because the mental images were so harrowing.. but I quickly returned desperate for more. This is an incredible story with great narration and yes, IMO, very creditworthy.

Devil's Vengeance

OMG! Gian’s brother and father were horrible! I cannot believe the damage he did to Daniela and her sister. It was so sad. Unfortunately, Gian failed to eliminate him. Gian did not tell his father what he did but his father knew and didn’t do anything to make things right. There is a twist at the end of the book where we find out what was really happening between Gian’s brother and his father. This book was VERY VERY dark and quite a wild ride. Gian and Daniela went through hell and the book was very emotional at times. Finally, Daniela’s father did something good because he was a horrible person too. I love how Gian tried to make things a little better for Daniela and her sister in the end. He really loved her after such a rocky start to their marriage. It would be great if there were another book to catch up with them and to find out how Daniela’s sister is coming along. Anastasia Watley and Michael Pierce did a very good job with the narration, especially Michael Pierce. I felt that Anastasia Watley sounded much too old for a young Daniela.

Sit on the edge of your seat….

Incredible story with extreme suspense. Female narrator is awesome. Male narrator good except he makes everything sound overly excitable even normal sentences, although it’s not bad enough to make me not enjoy the story. The only negative and the reasons I only gave 4 stars is because of the language. They use god-dam and expletives attached to Jesus Christ in almost every sentence. It was over the top foul language and didn’t add anything to the story. Saying stuff like that now and then is one thing but every few words is just crazy. Other than the language it was an amazing duet series.

Lots of action

Great read. Lots of hot sex scenes. Definitely recommend this book to those that like x- rated books. The story line kept me on the edge of the couch. Didn’t want to stop.

Over all a good listen

This book is dark and disturbing. The narrator for Gianni needed to tone down some, his tone of voice is over the top..You can't sound violent and angry ALL the time, it's a distraction from the actual story. The store line was good but I won't be listening to any more dark disturbing books such as this.

Great book

The story keeps you in suspense. Some of the story was difficult to listen to, but I truly understand the need for them. I would definitely recommend others who like dark mafia to read this book.

Very Dark

Only reason I kept listening is because I needed to know how it ended. It was way to brutal for me and I have tough skin. The other books were much more sensual, this was just dark.
