Publisher's summary

Underwater mayhem ensues when Ian, Stig, and Alaria fight her sixth evil ex-master deep on the ocean floor!

The villain is a cheerfully insane artist who creates a sculpture garden of...well...you’ll just have to listen to believe it.

There are beautiful nymphs...gorgeous mermaids...pirate ghosts...giant whirlpools...underwater dungeons...hidden treasure...and even a kraken.

But the most dangerous force of all is the one that follows Ian from the real world into the online game, and which threatens OtherWorld’s very core.

Warning: This is a comedy featuring hot women, sexy times, demons, warlocks, violence, profanity, and irreverent takes on religion.

Hated it

I have enjoyed the series until this book. So many aspects of it was a major turnoff. Lets start with the Main Character being a spoiled brat, or the LGBT infusion, or all the religion, all the gay references, the protesters, I mean I can keep going there is so many to pick from which made this book unenjoyable. I could not wait for it to end. I'm not sure if I will purchase the next book, that is how much I hated this one!

Annoying

Mc is annoyingly dimb. Makes no plans just always runs in. It is really annoying.

Too much preaching on ideology

This is supposed to be a LitRPG adventure with erotic scenes. Previous books in this series are pretty good, but this one is really very heavy-handedly focused on ridiculing Christians in particular. I mean it spends A LOT of time focusing on this. The familiars carry on about the MC using Jesus as a swear word, as well as they spending a lot of time (seemingly unknowingly) mocking Jesus; and protesters of the game are heavily focused on in the story. It quickly becomes less about the characters doing these things and moreso the author using the story as an outlet to mock and vent. It's preachy and it breaks immersion with the story because it causes the reader focus on the presence of real life ideological differences rather than focusing on the plot and characters. Real world issues are not why I read escapist fiction.

Additionally, when the story is not doing that, the MC is fighting a repetitively losing battle against the main boss for this story. He never seems to learn to fight smarter rather than fighting harder. He is somehow completely unable to learn from his mistakes in combat, and it is tiresome.

Iggy Toma does do a fantastic job as narrator, as always. So it gets an extra star overall for that.

I hope the next book is better. This one is a hard pass.

I can't get enough of this history

This author is pretty imaginative, this plot was great, finding an enemy like this one that admire you and support you condescending you and that you can't beat. All the mix of religion people heating and trying to bring down a video game just make me think on all the awful things that where and are being done by the name of God. can't wait to read the next book.

I have to say that the sex scenes are always great and love the fact that the is no tabu and almost all aspects are touched with the exception of gay sex that is only talked about.

Overall great

So yea overall great but man is the main charecter still the dumbest fucking human being to ever grace paper and i have read a boatload of stories with dumb ass heroes but fuck this kid takes the cake, like all his problems are basically from his own making or him dubling down on a dumb ass choice and the trippling and quadrupling down on a stupid fucking idea.

still on the hype train

I don't think there is a lewd series that I'm this into. The levels of quality, and story telling remains consistently high. I and really like the world development in this title specifically. Also I really hope he hate fucks her.

sorry, it's over for me

After listening to every book this one finally ended it for me. honestly, the main character never grows, never changes, and this last book was so convoluted and impossible to get behind.

Best of the series

Could not recommend this series let alone this book enough. This is easily the best of the series with a good mix between comedy, dungeons/monster fighting with some erotic scenes in there too!

If you love your Litrpg books with a bit of kink to it then you’ll love this one. Anyone who is a snowflake and gets easily annoyed about anyone treating protesters/activists like an annoyance (of which they are in this book) then you probably won’t like the main character.

For the author, keep up the great work, I can’t wait to read more! A bit of positive criticism, would love to see Stig grow more, away from his casual one liners of “f me”, “ “That’s what she said” and “I need booze”. What are his motivations and reasons for staying with Ian? What does he want to do?! Maybe a stig side quest!
Keep up the great work!
