Male narration was disappointing

Good story, very spicy. Female narration was great as she always is, but male narration did not fit the character. His Italian accent was over the top and sounded like a vampire cartoon character to me. This kinda ruined the spice for me. I would have rather read this one, I think I would have enjoyed it more.

LOL several times I swear I hear a cat meow. Just got a chuckle out of it.

Detained

Wonderful series by Luna Mason. With a loss of love throughout Frankie and Zara came out on top. Grayson and Maddie, Lucas and Rosa and Sienna and Keller. A family affair amongst them

Good Series, Tough Narration Finish

Good series overall. The female narration was excellent, as always. However, the male narration, which sounded like James Spader, didn’t fit the character, and the dual accent was quite distracting. His narration made it difficult to get through this one—almost a DNF—but I pushed through since it’s the final installment in the series.

I love this book!

I absolutely love the Beneath The Mask Series. Detained is one of the best books of the series too. Keller will always have my heart but Frankie is right up there with him. Zara is so smart and strong which I truly appreciate in a FMC. Luna knows how to write a great FMC that can hold her own but doesn’t overtake the MMC. It’s a perfect balance.

I believe that Angelina Rocca does a wonderful job portraying Zara in the audiobook. I think she probably does all the accents the best honestly. She has a great voice that keeps my attention. I love the emotion she puts into the reading when it’s needed. She’s not monotone but yet is soothing. I think she was a great choice for the part.

I was okay with Frankie’s portrayal but it wasn’t everything I hoped it would be. It just wasn’t how I pictured/heard Frankie in my head. I might just be picky though. It's not a bad portrayal so I don't feel like it will effect you listening to it.

I especially love this series and these books. Now I have the audiobooks too. You will love Zara and Frankie's story so don't miss out.

Luna has done it again with this amazing story. I was soooo excited for Frankie’s story and it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely loved the narrators performance.

Suspense and spice

Frankie and Zara were enemies, but there was also an instant and undeniable attraction between them. And once they gave in, it was obvious they had chemistry and a real connection.

These two were perfect for each other, and I loved how strong and supportive they were of each other. My heart broke for Zara and everything she went through, but she was so strong, and Frankie was there through it all.

I mean, Antonio’s accent was hot, so I got distracted, and I didn’t pay attention to what he was actually saying. (Of course, I didn’t mind rewinding for a re-listen.) Angelina did an excellent job bringing all the emotions and feelings of Zara to life. And these two made the spicy scenes sound scorching! My only complaint is that Antonio only had an accent for dialogue (i.e. if “Frankie” wasn’t speaking to anyone, then he no longer had an accent).

Loved the Story

Another great hit. Book had everything one heart desires. I hope a book on Zara comes to pass, She is one heavy weight woman.

🔥 🫠 The audio was absolute perfection !!! I loved reading the story a few weeks ago but Angelina and Antonio brought out a new array of emotions when they brought this story to life !!! Especially the chapter dealing with loss . It gutted me to put me back together in the best of ways !!! Amazing work ❤️ 🫠
