Publisher's Summary

Dr. Etchison is not your average dentist. A visionary leader, he combines marketing and business knowledge, clinical excellence, and leadership to create a thriving, growing practice - and he wants to share this special knowledge with you. It’s time to set off on a quest to implement systems that take your practice to the next level, inspire your team to greatness, and help you become the visionary leader who can transform your practice and your life.

In Dental Practice Hero, the listener will learn the systems Dr. Etchison used:

  • To grow his startup to one million in collections the first year, and continue to grow 30 to 40 percent each year after to almost three million in just five years and still growing! And all out of five ops!
  • To destress the day-to-day of running his practice so he could only do three days/week of clinical.
  • To become the leader who influences practice culture so positively that practice growth becomes organic.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Critic Reviews

“Paul’s book has all the elements necessary to assess your practice as well as your life and make it exceptional. Most books written for dentists, are designed to provide some cheerleading, give you a few helpful nuggets to improve you practice, and then motivate you to sign up with their consulting services. This book, however, breaks down piece-by-piece every component of a highly functioning practice and provides the tools and insight to take your practice the highest level possible. You get ALL the nuggets needed to redesign your practice and in-effect create the life you desire. Thank you Paul for providing this book at a critical time when many dentists are scrambling to find the answers to an ever-changing field.” (Dr. Lance Pietropola)

Amazing book with comprehensive blueprint!

I heard Dr. Etchison while on Dr. Dave Maloley’s podcast, in which Dr. M. highly recommended and vouched for this book. I decided that I would give it a try, and I was very impressed! Let me tell you, I have invested a LOT of money into good coaching, and this book had so many of the EXACT SAME pointers that I got from my high-paid coach! All for $15 instead! I am thinking that the author must have been in similar Mastermind groups or something as my coach. What a great book with dozens of very valuable secrets. HIGHLY recommend!

Thumbs up

Great book. Information is stellar. The narrator sounds like artificial intelligence. Kind of annoying. Also the audiobook makes references of visuals that are not included. One page/diagram is included but I believe the hard copy contains visuals not shared on audible.

I already have a great practice and have spent a lot on practice development, but this book still has great jewels of insight.

just buy it already!

practical advice that in the end is very profound. To me it is apparent that dr Etch is not a high flutin ivory tower guy, but someone who simply has spent the time and energy getting his "act" together. What he teaches in this book anyone can do. Great book!

So helpful

Wonderful reading a practice development book written by a practicing dentist and owner, who focuses on culture and employee development and not just cranking patients through. It’s appropriate for a ffs or ppo model. Practical and easy to implement. Thank you dr Paul, this is awesome. Really enjoyed this and your podcast

Must read for dental practice owners

Packed full of great advice for running a dental practice. Narrator’s enunciation took a while to get used to but the book is exceptional.

Incredibly good book

As a 28-year practice owner, it is rare that I find a practice management book that I find truly useful. This is one of those fair finds. Written in a conversation style, Paul provided a look into his incredibly successful practice, giving the reader excellent information that can be implemented easily into any practice. This is not fluff or trite content. It is filled with common sense and unique ideas that will provide the reader with the tools to take a practice to the next level, whether it is a start up or a more seasoned and established one. I purchased both the written text and the audio book. Get both, since much of the info he gives you is easily implemented when seen visually. I’ve let my team listen as a group to several parts of the audio book then we’ve taken the pdf associated with the audio version and customized it for our needs. Support our fellow dentist’s work here and also reap the benefits of this information. A+
