Yup it's a slow burn but it's awesome!

Beautiful story brought a few tears out. David you rock. Love all your books. And of course Tim is the man as always.

A fun action packed book with great narration and I'm looking forward to book two.

I listened to this book twice right when I got it. The characters and narration go well together. Story rich with lore and might and magic :)

Fun the whole way

Great pace, youth with spirit vs ancient and powerful, cool magic system and relationship building. Enjoyed performance also.
