Pretty good the arm thing is nagging me tho

I have no complaints except on that all he needs to do to regrow his arm is cut off the stump and then regrow it, and I find it very hard to believe that no one including the god of healing didn’t think of it, if it’s a thing he need to keep for the story I would ask that you provide a reason why that wouldn’t work in the book

Enjoyed it overall, a little aimless though

Overall this book was a lot of fun to listen to and the narrator was pretty good. The characters are interesting and have a decent amount of depth, at least for the main cast and the "good guys". Though there are bad guys, they aren't really developed enough to hate. Even in the first book with the necro attack, the villain was largely faceless. Not a deal breaker but I do like having characters to hate alongside characters to love. The biggest cons are relatively minor. In comparison to the first novel, this one seemed a little aimless, though that is to be expected with a series that is split between slice of life and action. The other issue is actually with the narrator, he can't seem to pronounce the word niche. And you'd think "niche" is a niche word that is not used often but leftright uses it extensively. It should be pronounced "Nee-shh" instead he pronounces it "Nitch". For a narrator who is otherwise great, this mispronunciation is really annoying.

great series

Great to know vel's backstory and see clammy growing into an absolute powerhouse. I hope Max can stop geeking out new spells until he learns how to reinforce them. He could've leveled up a lot more and King toben wouldn't have had to die if Max was strong enough to kill the blood mannequin.

Good world building

I feel like the author needs to get a better copy editor a lot of little things that just sound wrong repeated words or words not pluralized etc. I’m a sucker for magic systems so this kind of story is right up my alley especially when combining physics and science. there are some oddities where I begin to question such as the limits around the arm thing. Maybe it’s just being left for later?

Best Litrpg

The system is the best so far. This is The Best Book Ever . The chicken.

Filler? Training?

Maybe with so much actually happening in the first book that this one felt slice of life training montage filler. From his hero syndrome codependant girlfriend to his hours and hours of working on space magic.

It all just wasnt that interesting, especially the GF drama. Some might be needed but felt way too long. Almost could skip this book without losing out on much if read a summary.
