I love this book for the way it shows you that music touches every person in a different way. When you find someone that is touched the same way as you when they hear that lyric, you hold on to them. Fantastic.

Loved it

Enjoyed it very much! Definitely a new cult classic. I think this would make such a cute rom com. Also bonus points for the Spotify playlist to listen along.

A look back at

Deep Cuts was like going for a drive on a dark night and periodically being blinded by headlights in my rear view mirror reflecting on my own 20’s- 30’s. Some parts of the drive were pleasant, windows down on a cool night, but those glaring lights were tough being back in the unconfident skin of Percy. The narrator’s voices of the female characters was hard to listen to and each one sounded like the most annoying valley girl accent. I wish I read the book rather than listen to it.

Game of Cat and Mouse

I enjoy any book that kind bring music to life for each chapter. It was realistic in some aspects. I just felt that I was left with nothing but everything at the same time.

I wish I was able to pick apart Joe’s perspective a bit more.

Amazing for the music lover

Perfectly captures the music scene in early 2000s and on… made me so nostalgic about burned cds and then iPods.. also a REALISTIC romance and journey of friendships!
